Environmental Scientist

Laura Halliday

Laura is a qualified Environmental Scientist with five years’ experience including two years in sedimentology research (New Zealand) and three years in contaminated land management.

Her project management experience within the contaminated land sector includes Preliminary and Detailed Site Investigations (soil, vapour and groundwater), soil hazard categorisations, landfill environmental monitoring programs, groundwater monitoring events, Construction and Soil Management Plans, and tank pulls (validation and soil remediation). Laura’s experience ranges across Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and Northern Territory.

Laura has a robust approach towards site health and safety and strong instrumentation knowledge, with her field experience extending across groundwater (various sampling methods), surface water and soil sampling. She is experienced leading field programs and training field staff, including site work in high-risk petroleum environments (active service stations). Laura has managed projects for local government councils, major petroleum companies, small to medium developers and construction groups.
